Cyber Systems Engineer Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; no remote or telework allowed. Customer core hours are 09:00–15:00, Monday–Friday.

Projected annual compensation range: $148,515.72–$258,240.01.

What you will do

• Coordinate and facilitate engineering forums, design reviews, engineering boards, and readiness reviews.
• Work with project managers, developers, stakeholders, and customer leads to deliver assigned projects and ensure requirements are met.
• Represent project budget, schedule, and performance considerations and assess development contractor performance.
• Develop acquisition artifacts, execution reviews, roadmaps, transition plans, briefings, and contract documentation.
• Provide technical input for RFAs, RFPs, engineering change proposals, proposal analysis, and contract negotiations.
• Analyze cybersecurity policies and procedures against federal regulations and develop recommendations for privacy and risk management compliance.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• 12–15 years of experience with a BS/BA, 10–13 years with an MS/MA, or 10+ years with a Ph.D.
• DoD 8570 IAT or IAM certification.
• Experience with cyber operations, project management, acquisitions, requirements analysis, and cybersecurity processes and tools including Splunk.
• Ability to support customer core hours and Group Level GPOCs.
• Strong written and oral communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and hands-on experience with Excel and database applications.

Nice to have

• STEM bachelor's degree or advanced IA certification such as CISSP or CASP.
• Experience briefing senior customer personnel and supporting IC or DoD cybersecurity programs.
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to organize multiple customer requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
