IT Project Manager (Federal Contracting)

Location: Remote within the USA; candidates must reside in AL, AZ, DC, FL, GA, ID, MD, MS, NJ, NC, OK, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WV. U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary: $121,000–$154,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead IT projects through initiation, planning, execution, deployment, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, compliance, governance, resources, and finances.
• Lead cross-functional teams delivering complex technology initiatives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for government customers and internal leadership.
• Ensure delivery meets contractual obligations, federal regulations, cybersecurity standards, and company policies.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and residence in one of the approved U.S. states are required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading IT projects.
• Experience supporting federal government agencies or Department of Defense programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with contracting practices and knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• PMP certification.
• Agile/Scrum certification.
