Process Engineering Manager (Food & Beverage Packaging)

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA; onsite role with up to 15% travel, primarily in North America with some international travel.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the process engineering team while setting priorities, allocating resources, and forecasting workload.
• Own and approve process engineering deliverables, including process flow diagrams, equipment sizing, utility requirements, and sanitation concepts.
• Validate process designs for performance, cleanability, safety, and manufacturability in engineered-to-order systems.
• Oversee projects from concept development through commissioning and customer acceptance, partnering with project managers and engineering leads.
• Drive process optimization, standardization, root cause analysis, corrective actions, risk assessments, and post-project reviews.
• Support customer reviews, FATs, SATs, commissioning, quoting, concept development, procurement, and operations coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in food and beverage or related industries, including 5+ years in leadership or management.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering, fluid mechanics, sanitary design, food and beverage process equipment, and food safety standards.
• Understanding of PLC-based automation and control systems, with proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced, project-driven environments.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.
