Salary: $96,000–$120,000 per year, plus an annual performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Manage plant quality, environmental, health, and food safety programs to meet customer and corporate standards.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement action plans in collaboration with production teams.
• Analyze production and incident data, investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.
• Lead customer quality communications, audits, testing, information requests, and corrective action planning.
• Maintain quality and food safety certifications, environmental permitting, testing programs, and measurement equipment calibration.
• Document quality procedures, provide training, and lead or support environmental, health, and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, statistics, or engineering.
• Seven years of experience in corrugated manufacturing operations.
• Five years of experience with lean manufacturing tools, including root cause analysis, five why analysis, and process FMEA.
• Experience with food safety and management of food safety programs.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as necessary and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Nice to have

• Certified Quality Engineer qualification.
• Food safety certification such as HACCP.
• Experience with manufacturing shop-floor, statistics, or quality software.
