Process Engineer IV - Paint Manufacturing

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin, United States. Full-time work in office and manufacturing environments; regional day travel is expected, with overnight travel of up to 30% depending on projects and business activities.

What you will do

• Define and govern enterprise process standards and manufacturing best practices across multiple sites.
• Lead process improvement and new process introduction initiatives at enterprise scale.
• Analyze process and systems data and implement process monitoring strategies.
• Lead technical problem-solving initiatives related to processes and methods.
• Support capital strategy, technology roadmaps, and risk mitigation while leading large-scale capital projects.
• Partner with segment leadership and mentor process engineering talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of process engineering experience, including 5+ years in the relevant area of process expertise.
• 3+ years of large-scale project management experience.
• Expert technical knowledge, enterprise-level systems thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to translate technical insight into business impact.
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments with frequent exposure to manufacturing operations.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as PMP or PMO.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Multi-site project and support experience.
