QA Automation Engineer - Performance Testing

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated frameworks for performance, functional, synthetic, API, and system testing.
• Execute load, stress, soak, scalability, and performance tests to identify bottlenecks and risks.
• Build synthetic and observability-driven scenarios for monitoring client environments.
• Integrate performance and observability testing into CI/CD pipelines and production and non-production monitoring.
• Analyze and report performance results, trends, SLA metrics, and actionable recommendations to engineering, leadership, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Product Management, Support, and clients throughout the SDLC and release process.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in performance testing and automation engineering.
• Experience with JMeter, K6, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar performance-testing tools.
• Ability to write automated tests in Java, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Knowledge of application architecture, system performance, and resource utilization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Java development experience or an equivalent computer science background.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud-native testing solutions.
• Knowledge of Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Grafana, or similar APM and observability tools.
• Experience testing microservices and APIs under load.
• Strong communication, documentation, prioritization, and stakeholder-presentation skills.
