QA Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully onsite at the office in Lisbon, Portugal; relocation support is available.

Salary: €47K–€59K annually, to be discussed.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Create and execute automated regression, functional, performance, and API tests.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to improve feature testability and detect defects early.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, report issues, and identify critical scenarios and edge cases.
• Help define quality standards, testing best practices, and automation strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in test automation development.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
• Strong programming experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on API testing experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, agile methodologies, and analytical problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Experience testing iOS and Android applications.
