Maintenance B (Plastics Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Complete electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs under the supervision of a Maintenance Mechanic or Maintenance Manager.
• Work with Jomar, Husky, Nissei, and Beckum equipment used in plastics production.
• Requisition machine parts and equipment through the Maintenance Manager.
• Complete and file assigned maintenance work orders.
• Report machine deficiencies, oil leaks, irregularities, and unsafe conditions.
• Monitor and report low parts inventory levels.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of related work experience in Canada.
• Successful completion of a recognized course in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work, or equivalent competency demonstrated through employment history.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively within the Maintenance Team.
• Ability to work in a plant environment and contribute as a team player.
• Completion of ISO 9001 Introduction, GMP/GDP, and safety training; one week of training is provided in-house.

Nice to have

• College diploma.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Experience with injection, extrusion, and blow molding.
