Maintenance Millwright

Location: Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 30.00–43.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility assets.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to resolve equipment failures.
• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery using appropriate tools and rigging techniques.
• Inspect equipment, repair or replace defective components, and maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records.
• Support equipment upgrades, continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Follow safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with electricians, production, engineering, and maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• Valid 433-A Licence (Red Seal) in Ontario required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Electrical troubleshooting and automated manufacturing equipment experience.
• Experience with PLC-controlled systems and robotics.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.
• Forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift certification.
