Mill Maintenance Technician (Industrial Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic mill equipment.
• Use provided tools, equipment, skills, and experience to support safe and productive operations.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet minimum performance standards.
• Work the expected shift from 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM Monday through Thursday and from 4:30 PM to midnight on Friday.

Requirements

• English communication is required: speaking, reading, and writing.
• Hold a license as an Industrial Electrician or Millwright, be a recognized apprentice in either trade, or demonstrate proficiency and experience in these trades.
• Work safely, maintain a good attitude, and meet minimum performance standards.
• Have reliable transportation and be capable of working overtime.
• Be able to work in noisy, dusty, cold, and hot conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Provide a CPIC criminal record check unless already employed by Scotts; a driver's abstract may also be required.
