BIM Coordinator (Construction)

Location: Project-based assignments in the United States, including the Milwaukee, St. Louis, and Dallas–Fort Worth metro areas. The initial assignment is on-site for 2–6 months, with a minimum of 4 days per week on-site and required travel.

What you will do

• Lead BIM/VDC execution and act as the internal BIM lead and project coordinator for major projects, including a large-scale data center initiative.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models, clash detection, issue tracking, model exchanges, project coordinates, worksets, and BIM Execution Plans.
• Manage internal BIM staff and external subconsultants, including task assignment, workload balancing, and quality oversight for 20–30 technicians.
• Establish and improve BIM standards, templates, workflows, best practices, and model QA/QC processes.
• Lead coordination meetings with project managers, engineers, consultants, partners, and field teams to support constructability, RFIs, and as-built documentation.
• Mentor BIM personnel, provide technical guidance, and help transition BIM execution to a fully in-house team.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of BIM/VDC experience and 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams or mentoring junior staff.
• Strong proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Inventor, and related BIM software.
• Experience working with or directly for contractors on construction projects.
• Ability to manage large-scale projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and willingness to travel for project-based assignments.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field is preferred; Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
