BIM Detailer (VDC/BIM)

Location: Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Lomira, Milwaukee, Neenah, or Appleton, Wisconsin, United States. Primarily office-based with occasional travel to project sites.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models using Revit and other modeling tools.
• Produce construction drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication-ready documentation.
• Incorporate markups, redlines, and design revisions into models and drawings.
• Prepare models for coordination and clash detection and maintain views, sheets, file organization, and version control.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and BIM leadership to resolve design and drafting issues.
• Extract quantities and layout information for construction planning, field teams, as-built drawings, and record models.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in BIM, VDC, or detailing within construction or engineering environments.
• Strong proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam; Inventor experience is preferred.
• Experience producing 3D models and 2D construction drawings and working with model-based workflows and drafting standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, project-driven environment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Experience in multidisciplinary BIM environments, including civil, structural, or mechanical disciplines.
• Exposure to construction processes, field installation practices, infrastructure, or heavy civil projects.
• Familiarity with model organization, file management, and version control.
