BIM Detailer (Power Delivery & Electrical Construction)

Location: Appleton, WI / Green Bay, WI, United States; occasional travel required

What you will do

• Support BIM coordination and clash detection for electrical infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain 3D models, construction drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication details.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to resolve design conflicts and constructability issues.
• Integrate and update models across project phases, maintaining version control.
• Use BIM tools for electrical system routing, constructability reviews, field planning, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Participate in coordination meetings and support BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in BIM, VDC, or drafting, preferably in electrical or construction environments.
• Strong proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Experience with 3D models, construction drawings, and coordination workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Experience with Inventor.
• Experience supporting power delivery, substation, industrial electrical, or utility projects.
• Familiarity with clash detection and multidisciplinary civil, structural, and electrical BIM coordination.
• Understanding of construction sequencing and field installation practices.
