Director, Corporate Strategy (Automotive)

Location: On-site in Dearborn, Michigan, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Advise business leaders and executives on corporate strategy, strategic choices, and long-term value creation.
• Analyze market dynamics, product and business performance, competitive intelligence, financial results, and future scenarios.
• Monitor trends in automotive, technology, software, and adjacent industries and assess their strategic impact.
• Develop strategic plans, objectives, metrics, partnership opportunities, and negotiation approaches with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead special projects involving strategic aims, adjacent markets, market exits, and other high-priority corporate objectives.
• Coach and develop Corporate Strategy team members while leading teams through strategy development and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of corporate strategy experience, preferably in-house.
• At least 5 years of experience managing teams.
• Experience developing and executing corporate and business strategies for global organizations.
• Experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy within industrial goods, consumer products, or technology companies.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience with strategic partnerships and corporate development.
• Domain expertise in automotive, technology, or software.
• Specific knowledge of electric vehicles.
