Warehouse Supervisor (Automotive Batteries)

What you will do

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and guide warehouse staff.
• Direct inventory movement, including inbound receiving, loading, and unloading shipments.
• Coordinate physical inventory processes and cycle counts.
• Drive continuous process improvement across warehouse activities.
• Operate forklifts and train warehouse workers in safe, efficient equipment use.
• Apply carrier operations, shipment routing, distribution, and hazardous shipping requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• At least one year of warehouse experience involving inventory control procedures and inventory-accounting relationships.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, distribution methods, and state, federal, and interstate commerce regulations.
• Understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, computer, and decision-making skills; ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience in a lead role.
