Warehouse Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Ft. Dodge, Iowa, United States; on-site manufacturing warehouse role

What you will do

• Oversee daily receiving, shipping, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse workflow.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and validate Bills of Lading, manifests, and related documentation.
• Maintain forklift safety audits, lift truck operations, preventive maintenance schedules, inventory rotation, and warehouse space utilization.
• Coordinate with production, inventory control, inside sales, and plant planning to improve manufacturing workflow.
• Manage staffing levels, schedules, training, coaching, performance feedback, and employee documentation.
• Support safety, hazardous-material handling, international shipments, departmental budgeting, 5S, sanitation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of warehousing, receiving, inventory control, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, receiving processes, inventory control, and material handling practices.
• Experience with manufacturing warehouse safety programs and compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with warehouse management systems, barcode technology, and inventory systems.

Nice to have

• AS400 experience.
