Parts Specialist (Industrial Power Systems)

Location: Zeeland, Michigan, USA; onsite warehouse and manufacturing environment with up to 50% travel

What you will do

• Receive incoming materials and equipment, verify packing slips against purchase orders, and use forklifts or other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Pick up and deliver parts for customers and vendors, including emergency deliveries during and after regular hours when required.
• Store, organize, consolidate, and stage inventory while maintaining accurate system transactions and accessible stock locations.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare inventory against service kit requirements.
• Travel to remote warehouse storage sites to organize stockrooms and complete monthly cycle counts.
• Maintain clean and safe warehouse, yard, and shop areas and support facility improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a box truck and company vehicles.
• Two years of experience delivering parts and equipment and two years in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
• Strong communication, computer, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance and work in varying weather and manufacturing conditions.

Nice to have

• Forklift Operator Certification or PIT License, or ability to obtain it after hire.
• DOT Medical Certification Card, or ability to obtain it after hire.
