Clinical Assistant

Location: Carthage, Tennessee, United States; onsite health center role

What you will do

• Greet, room, and support patients throughout their clinic visits.
• Measure and document vital signs, patient history, and clinical information.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during examinations.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect blood and urine samples.
• Support front-office and administrative clinic functions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow clinical protocols, and provide compassionate patient service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program plus at least 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience, or at least 3 years of recent experience gained through on-the-job training.
• Relevant military medic experience is also accepted.
• Strong patient-care, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinical environment.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
