Field Service Technician

Location: Full-time in Southern California; hiring on the East Coast for two positions. The role is remote in the job header but requires predominantly outdoor, mobile field work, travel to assigned territories and company facilities, and occasional overnight or out-of-town travel.

Base hourly compensation: $30–$45 depending on experience. Additional compensation includes stock options.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair emergency call devices and other deployed hirify.global systems.
• Monitor system health, calibrate sensors and other components, run diagnostics, and perform firmware updates.
• Prepare, stage, transport, deploy, and test equipment for field demonstrations and live operations.
• Troubleshoot and reconfigure systems in dynamic testing environments while maintaining detailed service records and reports.
• Manage equipment and parts logistics and collaborate with engineering to improve platform reliability.
• Perform installation groundwork, including burying conduit and cables, restoring sites, and operating safely around heights, traffic, uneven terrain, and inclement weather.

Requirements

• Hands-on comfort with hardware, tools, computer systems, and test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport equipment weighing up to 75 pounds and operate a 28-foot ladder or lift.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Valid Class C driver's license, clean or acceptable motor vehicle record, and ability to pass an MVR check are required.
• Ability to work extended shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and after-hours emergencies in outdoor field conditions.
