Agile Systems Senior Technical Specialist

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; no remote or telework allowed.

Projected compensation: $137,853.93–$239,701.27 annually.

What you will do

• Lead agile planning, execution, and transformation activities for a Joint customer Program Office acquiring a future GEOINT Ground Architecture.
• Guide solution train, increment, sprint, pre-sync, post-sync, and retrospective activities across multiple technical stakeholders.
• Define and align solution epics, work initiatives, roadmaps, backlogs, dependencies, impediments, and release activities.
• Coordinate with customer leadership, program managers, systems engineering leads, architects, developers, and multi-agency stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor teams and stakeholders in Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, and agile best practices.
• Track flow efficiency, velocity, predictability, and other metrics to recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• BS degree with 12–15 years of experience, MS degree with 10–13 years, or Ph.D. with 10 or more years of experience.
• Experience implementing and overseeing complex agile programs at scale as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Solution Train Engineer, or in a similar agile leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, and scaled agile practices.
• Proficiency with Atlassian Jira, Jira Portfolio, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience leading technical teams, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, managing complex dependencies, and communicating with customer and program stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in Intelligence Community or Department of Defense environments.
• Experience with engineering and integration of complex mission systems.
• Familiarity with program acquisition processes and lifecycle management.
• SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Product Owner, or PMP certification.
