Agile Scrum Master (AI)

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach cross-functional teams on Scrum principles, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and help teams manage dependencies, risks, blockers, and delivery commitments.
• Act as the Jira subject-matter expert, improving workflows, boards, dashboards, reporting, backlog hygiene, estimation, and ticket lifecycle management.
• Support PI Planning preparation, coordination, follow-up, and cross-team dependency management while applying selected SAFe concepts pragmatically.
• Adapt Agile ceremonies and team norms for AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, non-deterministic testing, code review, quality gates, and human oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner.
• Advanced Jira proficiency, including workflows, boards, dashboards, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, with experience coaching teams and guiding behavior change.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of how AI is changing the software development lifecycle and experience improving defined processes.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting PI Planning in scaled or multi-team environments.
• Familiarity with SAFe, hybrid or customized Agile frameworks, and enterprise Agile tooling and governance.
• Awareness of prompt engineering, AI-generated code quality management, agentic development patterns, and AI-assisted task decomposition.
