What you will do

• Maintain and operate pipeline facilities, including valves, piping, pigging systems, meter stations, and regulator stations.
• Perform pipeline start-ups, shutdowns, leak surveys, system monitoring, and maintenance activities.
• Install pipeline markers, inspect rights-of-way, locate pipelines, and oversee excavations and line crossings.
• Monitor and maintain equipment at remote compressor stations, valve sites, and natural gas engine and compressor facilities.
• Record operating data, complete reports, create work orders, and comply with operating procedures and regulations.
• Complete required Operator Qualified tests for covered tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge or ability to develop knowledge of pipeline operations, pumps, compressors, regulation equipment, and shutdown systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics and apply mechanical and electrical troubleshooting principles.
