Alternative Delivery Manager (Heavy Civil Construction)

Location: Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Lomira, Madison, or Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; travel may exceed 50% depending on the assignment and project requirements.

What you will do

• Direct and manage all phases of alternative and collaborative delivery projects.
• Support business development, teaming, pursuits, and proposal activities.
• Manage active contracts and design coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide leadership and project management guidance for design-build pursuits and project delivery.
• Coordinate work across internal Michels teams, external partners, subcontractors, general contractors, and clients.
• Develop creative construction solutions while meeting client expectations, safety standards, and project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, plus 10 or more years of construction management experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Heavy civil construction experience, including underground utilities, foundations, and mass and finish grading.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods, including design-build and EPC.
• Experience in key project leadership roles and client management during pursuits and project delivery.
• Understanding of win strategies, pricing, project scheduling, estimating, and project controls software.
• Technical writing experience and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
