Delivery Manager - Public Sector

Location: Hybrid working with two days per week on client site; role expansion across the UK.

What you will do

• Support the delivery of complex products, services, and outcomes for public-sector, defence, infrastructure, transport, and major-project clients.
• Help form and run high-performing cross-functional teams using blended delivery approaches.
• Plan, estimate, scope, and deliver projects using appropriate agile and other delivery methods.
• Use team metrics to improve throughput and provide clear delivery insight to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, facilitating collaboration and communication across participants.
• Promote delivery quality, attention to detail, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in agile delivery consulting or related roles.
• Experience working in the public sector or with public-sector clients; defence experience is also considered.
• Experience delivering technical or engineering projects using agile delivery methods.
• Knowledge of estimating, scoping, and delivering products, services, and outcomes through varied delivery techniques.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and client-facing communication skills.

Nice to have

• Project management or project controls certification, such as PMQ or PRINCE2.
