Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States. The role may be performed in an office or hybrid environment and includes occasional travel, site visits, facility inspections, and work on manufacturing floors.
Estimated starting salary: $113,428.57–$155,964.28 annually, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do
- Oversee complex manufacturing operations, production control, and inventory control activities.
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives to increase manufacturing efficiency.
- Prepare, manage, and optimize operational budgets.
- Establish and enforce operational policies, procedures, safety practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Recruit, supervise, direct, evaluate, and develop operations staff while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, operations, business, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 9+ years of operations management experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role; 13 years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, production principles, materials management systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience interpreting technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and operational documentation.
- Previous supervisory experience and the ability to maintain staff competence.
- U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Nice to have
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP, MES, and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Assembly, Integration, and Test practices.
- Understanding of airworthiness, safety programs, and operational readiness.
- Aerospace and defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military experience.
