Operations Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Burlington, Washington, USA

Salary: $160,000–$181,000 annual salary plus bonus

What you will do

• Lead daily operations at the Burlington manufacturing plant, ensuring safe, efficient, timely, and high-quality production.
• Build and sustain a strong safety culture through visible leadership, coaching, observation programs, feedback, and corrective actions.
• Develop processes that balance cost, quality, delivery, safety, and morale while meeting customer requirements.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving and continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Manage plant capacity, human and physical resources, capital needs, production targets, deliveries, and late orders.
• Lead operations participation in customer and industrial audits, including AS9100 and Nadcap, and maintain compliance with the plant quality system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or another Engineering discipline.
• At least five years of progressively responsible operations management or related experience in the aerospace industry.
• Previous supervisory and job shop experience.
• Experience with Lean implementation and Daily Management Systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Computer literacy, including ERP, MES, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Eligible candidates must hold an accepted U.S. citizenship, nationality, permanent residence, or qualifying protected immigration status.

• MBA degree.
• Logistics, materials, and supply chain experience.
