Sr. Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist, Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart (St Louis, MO) – Johnson and Johnson MedTech, Electrophysiology

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States. The role requires working in hospital laboratory settings, attending live patient cases, traveling up to 40% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, and working variable hours as needed.

What you will do

• Provide clinical and technical assistance and training to electrophysiology and interventional cardiology physicians and laboratory staff.
• Support the use of AcuNav and SOUNDSTAR catheters, the CARTO System, CARTOSOUND, CARTOMERGE, and Stockert RF generator during procedures.
• Educate customers on electrophysiology products, instructions for use, best practices, and technical troubleshooting.
• Identify sales opportunities through consultative selling and facilitate territory manager engagement with decision-makers.
• Plan and schedule customer case support while collaborating with regional teams, marketing, field service, and field management.
• Develop customer relationships, share best practices, mentor new commercial team members, and solve problems in high-pressure environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant professional or military experience.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab.
• Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification in adult or pediatric echocardiography is required.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac ultrasound, echocardiography, cardiac ablation, cardiac imaging, and electrophysiology technology.
• Valid United States driver’s license required.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% overnight, work in hospital laboratories, attend live patient cases, wear protective gear, work variable hours, and lift up to 60 lbs.

Nice to have

• Electrophysiology, cath lab, or cardiovascular device industry experience.
• CEPS, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Experience with complex technical systems or critical patient care environments.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, autonomy, flexibility, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights.
