Cardiac Sonographer - Cardiology - Full Time

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; full-time onsite schedule of 6:30am–5pm, three days per week, with an on-call rotation.

What you will do

• Perform all aspects of cardiac sonography according to practice guidelines, hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Conduct testing and provide education for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Coordinate scheduling and testing with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and families.
• Use imaging equipment and procedures correctly while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Produce accurate and complete documentation for all activities.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with patient transports as required.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Allied Health Program.
• Current CPR certification.
• New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure is required.
• Minimum eligibility for RDCS Boards and/or the ability to earn the RDCS credential within one year is required.
• Current RDCS credential is preferred.
• At least two years of echocardiography experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Pediatric or neonatal experience.
• Current RDCS credential.
• Two or more years of echocardiography experience.
