Senior Clinical Specialist, Interventional Cardiology

Location: Remote within the United States, supporting the Upstate New York territory. Regular domestic travel: 25–50%.

Salary: $85,000–$160,000 annually, plus potential incentives and bonuses.

What you will do

• Provide clinical case coverage and support complex interventional procedures to help achieve strong patient outcomes.
• Serve as the primary clinical resource for product coverage, troubleshooting, in-service education, and proper clinical usage.
• Meet physicians, hospital groups, nurses, and laboratory staff to identify clinical needs and recommend feasible product solutions.
• Explain product, therapy, and technology developments and connect clinical data with key value messaging.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director and territory manager on account information, inventory monitoring, competitive insights, and sales objectives.
• Lead complex case reviews and develop clinical content for regional and area calls and internal education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent medical training required.
• Strong clinical knowledge in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular procedures, or cardiac surgery.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in relevant interventional or cardiac specialties preferred.
• At least 2 years of direct medical device industry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and customer-focused skills.
• Ability to work independently as the primary on-site company representative and collaborate across sales and clinical teams.

Nice to have

• Medical training as an RT, RCIS, surgical technologist, RN, NP, or first assistant.
• Experience providing clinical education and training to staff members.
• Financial acumen and knowledge of the medical device market and territory customer base.
