Outside Property Associate Claim Representative (Insurance): Developing the ability to investigate and manage first-party property claims across residential and commercial locations with an accent on policy interpretation, damage assessment, and customer communication. Focus on evaluating building and contents losses, preparing accurate estimates, adapting to claims technology and AI-driven transformation, and supporting catastrophe deployments.

Location: Hudson, Massachusetts, United States. The role is based remotely with mobile work at residential and commercial properties, work from the primary residence, or work from the nearest hirify.global office. This is a field position covering the Hudson area and may require deployment to other states for catastrophe response.

Annual base salary: $52,600–$86,800, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

  • Complete structured virtual, classroom, and on-the-job training in insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Review, investigate, document, and evaluate first-party property claims under close supervision.
  • Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
  • Interpret policy terms, determine coverage, assess building and contents damage, and prepare written or computer-assisted estimates.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders while maintaining accurate claim records.
  • Participate in catastrophe response deployments and inspect structures, including roofs, ladders, attics, crawl spaces, and other tight areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, along with customer service or insurance internship or work experience.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain an active adjuster or other required insurance license within the required timeframe.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with willingness to learn claims management and estimating software.
  • Strong communication, judgment, customer service, organization, conflict resolution, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

  • Previous insurance experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • UAS Remote Pilot Certification.
