Director Global HR Operations (Automotive)

hirify.global Corporation supplies driveline and metal-forming products to the global automotive industry, supporting electric, hybrid, and internal-combustion vehicles through operations across 24 countries and more than 175 locations.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain global HR operational standards, policies, processes, and governance frameworks.
• Standardize employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, transitions, recognition, service awards, and outplacement programs.
• Partner with HR leaders, Centers of Excellence, HRIS, HR Transformation, and Shared Services teams to improve workflows, automation, data quality, and service delivery.
• Monitor HR KPIs and operational metrics, preparing updates, business cases, and recommendations for HR and business leadership.
• Manage vendors, projects, budgets, timelines, and resources supporting global HR initiatives.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational changes through HR process integration and standardization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Transformation, or HR Program Management.
• Experience leading global HR processes and programs across multiple regions.
• Strong project management, process improvement, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience developing global standards, governance models, and operating procedures.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a geographically dispersed, matrixed global organization.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with HR transformations, mergers, acquisitions, organizational integrations, HR Shared Services, or service delivery models.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management, or another continuous improvement certification.
• Experience with Workday or other enterprise HR technology platforms.
• Experience managing global vendor relationships and contracts.
