Senior Director, HR Operations, Shared Services & HR Technology

Location: Tempe, Arizona, USA; hybrid attendance at the corporate headquarters up to three days per week is required. Travel to the Irvine headquarters and hirify.global campuses may be needed.

What you will do

• Lead strategy and operations for multi-state payroll, including compliance, controls, reporting, vendor coordination, and audit readiness.
• Govern, optimize, and administer the HCM and HR technology ecosystem, including system selection, implementation, integration, and data governance.
• Build and manage an HR Shared Services model covering onboarding, employee data, leaves, offboarding, service-level agreements, and operational metrics.
• Implement AI-enabled solutions, automation, workflow technology, predictive analytics, and self-service capabilities across HR operations.
• Build and develop a high-performing team covering payroll, HR systems, shared services, and HR operations.
• Lead complex cross-functional projects involving payroll, HR technology, process redesign, organizational growth, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in payroll, HR operations, shared services, HRIS, or people operations.
• 7+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience leading HCM selection, implementation, optimization, and transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing multi-state payroll operations, regulatory compliance, process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
• Strong knowledge of HCM and payroll platforms such as Workday, Dayforce, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience implementing or leveraging AI-enabled solutions in HR or people operations.
