Sr Business Program Manager (Drone Operations)

Location: Hybrid, Maywood, Illinois, United States. Travel across the ComEd territory is required as needed, with office attendance based on business requirements.

Annual salary: $88,800–$122,100, plus a 15% annual bonus for eligible positions.

What you will do

• Lead the planning, implementation, evaluation, and closeout of business programs, projects, and UxS/drone initiatives.
• Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, risk analyses, budgets, schedules, scopes, performance indicators, and reporting tools.
• Drive the integration of drone operations into utility workflows and align UxS priorities with strategic and grid planning objectives.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal policies, lead corrective actions, and resolve regulatory issues.
• Develop and deliver drone training, business readiness procedures, compliance recovery plans, and change management activities.
• Lead process improvement, benchmarking, diagnostics, troubleshooting, stakeholder coordination, and mentoring of less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a S.T.E.M. field with 4–7 years of related business experience, or 6–9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with business planning, project or program management, performance measurement, quality assurance, and change management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant business applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, financial, negotiation, conflict management, communication, consensus-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience analyzing complex business processes and systems, developing business cases, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
• Ability to work extended hours during storms or other energy delivery emergencies and travel across the ComEd territory as needed.

Nice to have

• MBA or master’s degree in business or a S.T.E.M. field.
• CAPM, PMP, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management practices, procedures, and principles.
• Experience with complex economic, financial, risk, and decision analysis.
