TL;DR
Sr Director Integrated Program Management (Aerospace & Defense): Leading integrated program management strategy, processes, tools, training, and execution across the ISR, Aviation, and Security business area with an accent on program performance, change management, customer relationships, and aerospace and defense delivery. Focus on directing Program Managers, improving cost and schedule performance across multiple programs, managing EVM requirements, and executing strategic growth and financial plans.

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; onsite business-area leadership role. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Estimated starting salary: $221,505.94–$304,570.67 per year, plus annual performance-based incentive pay.

What you will do

  • Lead program management strategy, processes, tools, training, and continuous improvement for the ISR, Aviation, and Security business area.
  • Coordinate with corporate integrated program management teams on priorities, process improvements, pricing and estimating, baselining, execution, tools, training, and compliance.
  • Lead and motivate Program Managers while supporting change management, career development, succession planning, performance management, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Monitor program KPIs and performance metrics and drive corrective actions across program, business unit, and business-area teams.
  • Manage executive and customer relationships, customer satisfaction, communication, requirements, and new business opportunities.
  • Present plans and results in quarterly corporate meetings and apply industry best practices to improve program planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute.
  • Thorough knowledge of program management and aerospace and/or engineering programs, including managing cost, schedule, and technical performance across multiple programs.
  • Experience leading Program Managers and managing complex situations, delegation, team development, conflict resolution, communication, and executive presentations.
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management and experience preparing proposals, business plans, specifications, estimates, and resource plans.
  • Proven ability to solve complex business problems and develop, communicate, and execute financial forecasts and strategic growth plans.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

  • Typically 12–15 years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in program or business management.
  • PMP, EVP, and/or PMI-SP certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Deltek Cobra, Power BI, Program IBRs, JSRs, and internal surveillances.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and Cost Accounting Standards compliance.
  • Experience in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, NASA, commercial space, or the U.S. military.
