Manager, Facilities

Location: Falls Church, Virginia, United States; onsite across all Falls Church locations

Base salary: $95,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead daily soft-services and integrated workplace operations across HQ, Co|Lab, and The Shed.
• Manage recurring vendor relationships, competitive bids, contracts, service levels, corrective actions, and renewals.
• Oversee contractors, site activity, access plans, work windows, safety requirements, inspections, punch lists, and invoice approvals.
• Coordinate workplace services for events, new-hire readiness, departures, office moves, loading dock operations, and inventory governance.
• Coordinate operating budgets and capital forecasts, validate invoices, explain variances, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
• Administer facilities safety, accessibility, security, emergency preparedness, and compliance programs while supervising and developing the facilities team.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive facilities management experience, including at least 2 years managing facilities of 100,000+ square feet.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience managing multi-vendor service contracts, competitive bids, workplace services, corporate events, office moves, and sizable employee populations.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction project drawings and collaborating with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license, clean Motor Vehicle Record, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and regular building walkthroughs required.
• 24/7 on-call availability for building emergencies and OSHA 30-hour certification, or willingness to obtain it within 6 months, required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tool Watch or an equivalent inventory and asset platform.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
