Location: On-site in Valley, Nebraska, United States; full-time presence at Valley, NE is required. Travel may include up to 5% domestic or international travel. Relocation is not authorized. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
Compensation: $74,644–$91,231 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do
- Coordinate site-specific engineering projects, engineering work requests, and specialty work requests under the guidance of engineers or a supervisor.
- Define internal customer requirements, select laboratory and plant equipment, obtain bids, negotiate supplier terms, and prepare project justifications and AFE documentation.
- Manage capital equipment purchases, purchase requisitions, funding, supplier orders, delivery timelines, and payment coordination.
- Monitor supplier and contractor activities, evaluate delivery, pricing, and quality, and support supplier performance improvements.
- Provide budget, forecasting, spending, asset reconciliation, financial, technical, and statistical analysis for assigned projects.
- Respond to plant and business partner needs, support engineering systems training, and participate in engineering teams and department committees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher plus six years of experience supporting or coordinating engineering, manufacturing, facilities, laboratory, or plant projects; or an associate degree or higher plus four years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and escalate complex issues when needed.
- Strong project management, planning, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with engineering, sourcing, finance, operations, maintenance, and supplier stakeholders.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Eight years of relevant project coordination experience.
- Familiarity with procurement, financial, engineering, or project management systems.
- Experience preparing estimates, budget updates, AFE documentation, or project justifications.
- Knowledge of basic engineering principles, equipment specifications, technical troubleshooting, and statistical analysis.
