Senior Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Iowa City Plant, United States

Salary: $110,000–$165,300 per year, plus bonus if applicable and benefits.

Procter & Gamble operates a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing site producing consumer beauty and personal care brands including Head & Shoulders, Pantene, and Scope.

What you will do

• Lead capital projects from concept and scope development through design, execution, startup, and operational handoff.
• Manage projects ranging from $2 million to $20 million, including new product initiatives, capacity expansion, and productivity improvements.
• Balance technical, financial, and execution priorities while managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, spend forecasting, and change control.
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues while maintaining project reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, equipment suppliers, and cross-functional partners across operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, finance, and purchasing.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, compliance, and performance expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience leading projects in manufacturing, industrial, or technical environments.
• Demonstrated capability in project planning, execution, capital management, and risk management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-volume, highly automated manufacturing.
• Background in process, making systems, packing, or packaging operations.
• Experience with automation, manufacturing technology, equipment integration, commissioning, and operational handoff.
