Senior IT Voice Engineer (Microsoft Teams Voice)

What you will do

• Support the active migration from Cisco CUCM to Microsoft Teams Voice.
• Design enterprise voice architecture using Direct Routing, Calling Plans, and hybrid scenarios.
• Provide expert support for Microsoft Teams Voice, Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, CCX, gateways, and SIP integrations.
• Configure and optimize Session Border Controllers, dial plans, call routing, normalization rules, and number porting strategies.
• Ensure network readiness through QoS, bandwidth planning, latency optimization, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Establish operational standards, monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Voice, preferably Direct Routing.
• Extensive experience supporting Cisco CUCM in large enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of SIP, VoIP, RTP, TLS, and telephony signaling.
• Experience leading or architecting voice migration projects.
• Strong networking fundamentals and advanced troubleshooting skills across voice and network layers.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, decision-making, and ownership skills.

Nice to have

• Direct experience leading Cisco CUCM to Microsoft Teams Voice migrations.
• Experience with global or multi-site voice deployments.
