Senior Network Engineer

What you will do

• Participate in the Rapid Response Team, handling urgent break-fixes and high-priority incident requirements.
• Manage network connectivity at VIP and General Officer quarters and ensure readiness for VIP visits.
• Implement and manage network transport across multiple classification levels.
• Install and manage encryption, VoIP, VoSIP, and auxiliary power equipment such as UPS devices.
• Oversee lifecycle maintenance, installations, removals, patching, and cabling according to approved standards and architectural drawings.
• Support Crisis Management Teams with cost transfers, user agreements, and monthly reports covering labor and materials.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• At least five years of network engineering experience, including rapid response and high-priority incident management.
• Experience working with Department of Defense customers and government multi-contractor teams.
• Knowledge of network connectivity and transport across different classification levels.
• Knowledge of encryption devices, VoIP and VoSIP devices, auxiliary power equipment, network patching, and cabling.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business management, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• One nationally recognized certification for senior network administrators, engineers, or architects.
