TL;DR
Cisco Voice Engineer (Cisco Voice/Networking): Installing, configuring, customizing, and supporting enterprise Cisco voice technologies and high-availability contact center environments with an accent on SIP, CUCM, UCCE, QoS, and network infrastructure. Focus on implementing changes, releases, and upgrades, troubleshooting complex voice and network issues, and coordinating consistent systems engineering practices with IT teams, vendors, and customers.
Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado, United States; 100% remote

What you will do
- Install, configure, customize, and support enterprise Cisco voice technologies, including SIP, CUCM, and UCCE.
- Implement changes, releases, and upgrades for high-availability contact center environments.
- Devise solutions for complex systems engineering problems and provide technical recommendations to systems administrators and application owners.
- Collaborate with systems engineers across IT groups, peers, vendors, and internal and external customers.
- Apply network standards across voice, video, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure.
- Maintain technical skills and contribute beyond assigned tasks while working with limited direct supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5–6 years of experience installing and configuring Cisco voice networks.
- ITIL v3 Foundations certification required.
- Experience with QoS and voice, change management, and change control processes.
- Knowledge of Cisco ASA firewalls, VPN, PKI, AAA, 802.1x, Cisco ACS, and EAP.
- Strong troubleshooting, customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Cisco voice-related certifications.
- Experience with Genesys, VHT, Aspect, and Symon.
- Experience with Windows Domains, IIS 7, Citrix, VMware ESX, virtualization, clustered servers, and SAN/NAS environments.
- System administration experience.
