Senior Compensation Associate

Location: New York, United States; onsite four days per week

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build, maintain, audit, and automate compensation models evaluating internal equity and external market competitiveness.
• Use Workday Compensation to manage salary structures, grade profiles, eligibility rules, merit cycles, and compensation insights.
• Analyze financial services market surveys and create automated, self-service reports for HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
• Design and model international base salary, variable cash incentive, and deferred equity award structures.
• Advise HR Business Partners and Finance on compensation matters, including bonus accrual processes.
• Lead global compensation cycles, including annual reviews, budgeting, implementation, governance, and documentation.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive corporate compensation analysis experience, ideally in financial services.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Compensation for large-scale global salary and incentive programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or another highly quantitative field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, arrays, and financial modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of global cash structures, bonus pools, and equity award mechanics.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required; hirify.global hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents, subject to stated exceptions.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial services compensation survey databases such as McLagan, Mercer, or Willis Towers Watson.
• Experience creating sustainable modeling architecture through automation.
