Associate Compensation Analyst

Location: Hybrid role based in Baltimore, Maryland, or St. Petersburg, Florida, United States

Annual salary: $70,000–$85,000, depending on location and relevant experience, plus a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Analyze compensation survey data and support market pricing and benchmarking.
• Maintain and audit compensation data across HR systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and analyses for compensation decisions, pay equity reviews, and program effectiveness.
• Support annual merit, bonus, and promotion cycles through data preparation, validation, and reporting.
• Assist with salary structures, job architecture, and other compensation programs.
• Partner with HR and business leaders, respond to compensation inquiries, and create presentations and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in compensation, HR, finance, analytics, or a related area; internship experience is welcome.
• Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a focus on data accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from Baltimore, Maryland, or St. Petersburg, Florida.

Nice to have

• Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
