Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer (SysML)

Location: Remote within the United States; Home, D.C.

Salary: $135,070.66–$187,687.74 per year

What you will do

• Apply model-based systems engineering across space systems, electric vehicles, combat vehicles, tactical communications, command and control, and other domains.
• Develop model-based requirements, interface, and design specifications.
• Create use cases, activity models, and other SysML models.
• Use system modeling tools at an expert level while working with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with system domain subject-matter experts, engineers, managers, peers, and customers.

Requirements

• Experience as a Model-Based Systems Engineering subject-matter expert.
• Strong systems engineering and SysML/UML modeling capabilities.
• Experience with one or more of No Magic, MagicDraw, Cameo, SysML, UPDM, or IBM Rhapsody.
• Active Secret-level security clearance required.
• Self-directed work style, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with highly technical teams.
• Degree and experience combinations: BS with 10–12 years, MS with 8–10 years, or PhD with 5–7 years of experience.
