System Engineer V - (E5) (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; relocation eligible; travel required up to 10% of the time

What you will do

• Lead complex projects combining electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software engineering.
• Develop system architectures, lead architecture brainstorming, and drive projects toward final architecture decisions.
• Analyze requirements, create system diagrams and specifications, and influence engineering teams to apply systems engineering practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex engineering problems while reviewing test results and adjusting design direction.
• Support system integration, product assembly, and final testing of new designs.
• Coordinate with marketing, vendors, and field support personnel to address requirements, product development, and customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP).
• Ability to lead complex project teams or initiatives and collaborate across engineering functions.
• Availability for travel up to 10% of the time and work at the Santa Clara location.

Nice to have

• Experience with Common Graphics Architecture (CGA).
• Experience with AiX.
