Director - Technology Risk Consulting - Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology (AI)

Salary: $126,500–$254,700 per year, plus discretionary bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Advise executives and boards on AI and emerging-technology risks across governance, ethics, security, privacy, model risk, and operational resilience.
• Lead GenAI and ML adoption decisions by translating business use cases into architectures, controls, and delivery roadmaps.
• Design and operationalize AI and technology risk frameworks across the data, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and change-management lifecycle.
• Architect secure, scalable, and governable AI-enabled solutions, including GenAI and RAG patterns.
• Evaluate SDLC and MLOps practices, including cloud landing zones, APIs, data pipelines, CI/CD, model registries, and deployment strategies.
• Lead client engagements, delivery governance, team development, proposals, executive workshops, and follow-on sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Risk, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8–10+ years leading technology risk and/or AI engineering delivery in consulting or industry.
• Experience owning large client programs and leading delivery across risk, data science, engineering, and security functions.
• Job-relevant certifications, such as Azure, AWS, or AI certifications.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML, GenAI, LLMs, RAG, evaluation, safety, cloud and data architecture, SDLC, and MLOps/LLMOps.
• Executive-level communication skills and the ability to translate engineering, risk, regulatory, and business requirements into implementable solutions.

Nice to have

• Proven delivery sales experience, including pursuit shaping, solutioning, pricing input, and executive presentations.
• Experience with IaC, observability, model registries, feature stores, and policy-as-code.
