Senior Commercial Sourcing Advisor (IT)

Location: Findlay, Ohio; additional location: San Antonio, Texas.

What you will do

• Develop and manage strategic sourcing initiatives for digital software, hardware, cybersecurity, cloud, support, and professional services.
• Build supplier relationships, track KPIs, resolve performance issues, and manage strategic supplier reviews.
• Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, including requirements development, vendor negotiations, and contract execution.
• Analyze bids and commercial, financial, and business data to reduce costs, mitigate risk, and recommend qualified contractors.
• Execute category strategies and improve procurement processes through the Procure to Pay cycle, from order entry through invoice reconciliation and payment.
• Lead workshops and collaborate with business units, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on technology trends and sourcing requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Finance, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of IT sourcing experience covering hardware, software, cloud, or support.
• At least 4 years of experience in purchasing, contracts, or commercial roles.
• Experience negotiating with IT vendors and a strong understanding of IT technologies.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Power BI, and Ariba.
• Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, independent working, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• C.P.M. or C.P.S.M. certification.
