Senior Sourcing Agent (Hybrid Schedule)

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States; hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Employees must be able to work up to five days in the office when required. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire may be necessary, with up to 25% travel.

Salary: $111,050–$123,390 annually, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Drive procurement sourcing strategies for medium- to high-dollar and complex requirements.
• Lead supplier evaluations, RFPs, negotiations, contract implementation, and high-complexity contract execution.
• Coordinate with internal business partners and suppliers to resolve issues and improve procurement outcomes.
• Develop supplier performance KPIs and SRM scorecards, using analysis to improve future strategies.
• Identify cost savings, optimize the supplier base, and implement sourcing and contract-management best practices.
• Conduct market analysis, maintain procurement records, and support supply-chain sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of related strategic sourcing or procurement experience.
• Experience with purchasing, contract negotiation and drafting, contract management, supplier development, and supplier qualification or certification.
• Advanced knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices, purchasing and inventory systems, and contract terms and conditions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, communication, influencing, project management, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Certified Purchasing Manager, Six Sigma, Lean, process management, or PMP certification.
