What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of action plans to achieve the business plan.
• Direct manufacturing activities, production standards, staffing levels, shifts, operating schedules, and machine usage.
• Manage facility staff and operations associates across manufacturing areas.
• Improve performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective operating methods and strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for new product and process development, machine retooling, and prototype manufacturing.
• Review financial data and manage operational budgets to improve profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, manufacturing, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing or machining within the automotive industry.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, daily operations, material handling, quality criteria, safety, and human-resource matters.
• Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and complex-problem-solving skills.
• Prior Lean Kaizen manufacturing experience and understanding of 5S principles.
