Sr. Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; full-time onsite plant operations

Salary: $118,700–$211,300 per year across U.S. locations

What you will do

• Lead daily plant operations across assembly, sub-assembly, testing, shipping, warehousing, planning, quality, and safety.
• Manage a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment with multiple product lines, complex assemblies, and thousands of part numbers.
• Partner with supply chain and planning teams to improve material flow, kitting, production continuity, and line-side delivery.
• Establish and monitor production, labor efficiency, cost, budget, and delivery performance metrics.
• Lead and develop value stream leaders and other direct reports through coaching, mentorship, and problem-solving.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with engineering, finance, supply chain, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience.
• At least five years of management experience leading and developing others.
• Experience with high-mix, low-volume manufacturing, complex assemblies, and non-repetitive production environments.
• Knowledge of material flow, supply chain integration, production planning, and ERP transactional processes.
• Experience managing operational budgets, cost centers, quality standards, and performance metrics.
• Ability to lead in a highly matrixed organization and balance hands-on operations with strategic planning.

Nice to have

• Experience in engineer-to-order industries such as capital equipment, power generation, or heavy equipment.
• Experience with Toyota Production System, standard work, 5S, and flow optimization.
• Experience leading operations for businesses with annual revenues above $150 million.
