Automotive manufacturing company operating a plant production line.

What you will do

• Supervise production team members and direct daily activities for one production line or area on a single shift.
• Plan production operations, priorities, sequences, and schedules to meet product and quality specifications.
• Monitor compliance with production methods, quality standards, safety regulations, and equipment operating requirements.
• Review production reports, resolve manufacturing and maintenance issues, and minimize operational delays and costs.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards and coordinate employee orientation and on-the-job equipment training.
• Coach, counsel, and train team members to support a qualified, quality-conscious workforce.

Requirements

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Ability to follow collective bargaining agreements, plant policies, safety rules, attendance policies, and applicable laws.

Nice to have

• Experience in a J-I-T automotive sequencing environment.
• Union experience.
